I’m definitely aging myself with this comic, and definitely the page, but back in my day, Hot Topic used to be a scary place filled with emo kids, metal tees, and Happy Tree Friends merch. This isn’t to say that Hot Topic is a bad place today, but there was a sense of fear that me and my brother felt whenever we approached the store at the mall. Of course, we were raised Catholic, so a lot of things fazed us in our teen years. Of course, we grew out of it immediately after setting foot in there once, but not everyone is so lucky.
